Street Toyota will host a charity event to present their donation checks to four different charities. Street Toyota announced a $ 2,500 donation to each of the following four organizations: The Downtown Women’s Center, Family Support Services, Guyon Saunders Resource Center and The High Plains Food Bank. These organizations will also receive a matching $ 2,500 contribution from Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc.

The event will be on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at 2 pm in the Street Toyota lobby.

Each of these four organizations provide a key role to human existence: food, shelter, protection and warmth during the winter season. They are all located within the Amarillo area and all of the proceeds given stay local.

“Street Toyota has been proud to be a part of the Amarillo community since 1982,” said Joe Street, Owner and President of Street Toyota, Inc. “Throughout that time, we’ve supported the community in many ways by hosting canned food drives for the High Plains Food Bank and our associates have volunteered their time with United Way and many other non-profits in our community.”
